Sermon Text: Acts 4:1-31
Sermon Purpose: To call the hearer to experience the fullness of fellowship by obeying the mandate of outreach.
Sermon Proposition: There are 4 principles of outreach.
I. The mandate of outreach will drive you to persecution. V.1-4
A. Persecuted because of the message. V.1-3
B. Persecuted because of the movement. V.4
II. The mandate of outreach will drive you to proclamation. V.5-12
B. The universal commitment is Jesus Christ. V.11-12
III. The mandate of outreach will drive you to power. V.13-22
IV. The mandate of outreach will drive you to prayer. V.22-31
A. The testimony given to men is God’s protection. V.23
B. The testimony given to God is God’s plan. V.24-30
C. The testimony given to the church is God’s power. V.31
