Sermon Title: The Servant's Commission
Sermon Text: 1 Timothy 1:18-20
Sermon Purpose: To call the servants of Christ to engage in the good fight against, false teaching, false teachers, and false living.
Sermon Proposition: There are 4 principles to this commission to engage in the battle.
18 This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, 19 having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck, 20 of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I delivered to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme. 1 Timothy 1:18-20 (NKJV)

Lack of conviction leads to a harden conscience.
Lack of conviction causes people to refuse to listen to their conscience and they strike out in hostility and rebellion thus living more unrighteously and ungodly.
Lack of conviction causes people to refuse to listen to their conscience and sense more and more failure. This can and often does lead to withdrawal and depression and all kinds of emotional and mental problems.
